Our curriculum

Maths lessons happen every day, in the classroom, in the school grounds, sometimes down the street! Our Maths curriculum is based on the Victorian Curriculum and includes learning in Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry, and Statistics and Probability.

Maths lessons develop our students’ problem solving skills, mathematical understandings and reasoning and number fact knowledge and fluency. Lessons include hands-on activities, links to real life situations, games and a ‘struggle time’, when students work independently to apply their learning.
