Our Community

Welcome to Team Malmsbury! We are the parents and friends of Malmsubury Primary School. Our role is to provide support for the school, its students and community, including raising funds for the benefit of the school. We work in cooperation with the principal, staff and school council in building effective partnerships between home and school. And we encourage building relationships between the families of the school through support of the school.

Our areas of focus are to:

• Welcome new families to the school
• Raise money for new equipment and resources
• Organising fun community-building activities for our children e.g disco, school fair, art shows, etc.

We hold several fundraising events during the year along with social events and meet-ups. We also have a bi-monthly stall at the Malmsbury Farmers’ Market and run regular working-bees.

Over the years, money raised through our fundraising has been used to enhance the school resources and most recently, we’re proud to have been able to fund a new outdoor play area.

In these challenging times, we need everyone’s input and support with activities that will aid the school to support our lovely little school.

We welcome new members and participation in any form (from baking goods for our end of term bake-sale, to turning snags on the BBQ on election day, or donating goods for our Trivia night silent auction).
